Hello everybody It’s been a while since I posted. Well on April 24 th my middle son turned 30 You only turn thirty once in your life so I learned a new technique ez lights. The technique let’s you light up your card with a tiny light insert. It looks hard but it isn’t if I can do it you can do it.This is a card I started,But in my excitement of completing it I forgot to take a picture of the finished project. Silly of me to forget but I can always take a full picture if I asked my son.He loved it.It was the perfect card for him.My son is a warm intelligent caring man who will be getting married in September.I love him with all my heart and he knows how to make me smile. He was always a curios kid when he was small asked all kinds of questions and would play with everything. So here it is the inside of his card. This will at least give you an idea on what it looks like. I purchased the Birthday cake pop up And the ez light insert from Karen Burniston.com.The Instructions video was from Pearl Blossom Press. I hope you look into this technique and have as much fun as I did making it.I will update this blog when I get the picture of my finished project.
Thanks for visiting have a creative day.

Wedding Bliss
Its been a long time since I posted anything .In celebration of me and my husbands 34th wedding anniversary I thought I would post some wedding cards I created for my two nephews and their new wives. I Hope that their new beginning together will convince my boys to propose to their beautiful girlfriends. The creative process for me takes time. Each card I make has each person’s unique personality and style in mind. It may take me days to do. I do and re do them many times before it comes together. The wedding I attended first was on State St in Boston Massachusetts. It was beautifully executed and so much fun.The wait staff was friendly and very accommodating. Some of them even showed us their dance moves while serving us.
The ceremony was personal and the vows were written from the heart. The love they share is pure and true. You can tell by every glance they exchanged. So the card shows the elegance of the day and the love in their hearts.
The second wedding we attended was in Newport Rhode Island .The wedding vows were just as amazing as the first. The love the bride and groom have for each other showed through also with each glance they exchanged. The view of the ocean from the venue was awesome the weather was beautiful .The vibe of this wedding was also elegant but a more casual atmosphere with a beach theme even offering flip flops for the dancing. There was no wedding cake but the bride and groom shared a cupcake showing their playful side. Each wedding different but elegant and wonderful. To top it off the whole family got to be together. My boys ,their dad ,and their girlfriends where all dressed up. Everyone looked amazing. It was a great celebration of two couples embracing their new journey together as one. Congratulations to my nephews and their wives. May your lives from this day forward be blessed with happiness love and new adventures. Love Auntie Kim

My Butterfly Garden
I have always loved butterflies and their individual beauty.I had no idea that they were a dwindling species. Until my husband and I visited Phoenix Arizona. We took a day trip to a place called Butterfly Wonderland http://www.butterflywonderland.com,
What a great place to visit.
The tour started with a 3D movie about the flight of the butterfly. The 3D animation was fabulous. I hate to admit it but I was roped in. I was like a child seeing her first movie in the Cinema. The movie was very informative and visually beautiful. I felt like I was flying with the butterfly through it’s miraculous journey. The next part of the tour was the indoor butterfly garden,Every butterfly you could imagine. What a wonderful sight.
Butterflies are like most animals or insects, In the warmer months they search far and wide for their mate in all the 50 states. They decide to settle in for a short visit lay their eggs and off they go to Mexico, leaving the colder more brutal months behind. In Mexico all the species gather together on the vast trees in unity. Unfortunately the warm tropical countries are being swallowed up by construction and the butterflies safe havens are being destroyed. But every year their survival is in danger.
So this year I was inspired to plant a butterfly garden to help the species survive. It’s been worth it. I am addicted and drawn to the garden. Every morning when I get up I sit and watch which butterfly species has visited
Interpretation of a brain on TV
- Do you know what your child is thinking?
- What is the going on in this world.
- Even the owl looks brain washed.
- Is this real life or am I dreaming.
Today’s subject is a brain addicted to television. I need to tell you the artwork is not mind. I am curious to see how people interpret this piece.
